Alexis Brianne Jalomo - Sixth Honor Student Alexis Brianne Jalomo is the daughter of Brian and Monica Jalomo. She is an HSF-Scholar, YLI Scholar, National Honor Society Scholarship Semi-Finalist, HI-Five Superintendent%u2019s List member, Forty Acres Semi-Finalist, UCA-ALL American, BPA State Champion, and Head of Class Nominee in high school. She has participated in several extracurricular activities and organizations in addition to her academic achievements, including National Honor Society President, Rho Kappa Honor Society President, SNHS, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Leo Club, Decathlon, and Lower Valley Cotillion Debutant. Alexis wants to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at UTRGV and assist children and veterans. Alexis would like to thank her family and everyone who helped her through high school.Beatrice Adriana Villarreal - Seventh Honor Student Beatrice Villarreal is the daughter of Hugo and Beatrice Villarreal. She states that she gives all glory to God along with her parents for helping her achieve the honor of being ranked the number 7 student of her graduating class. Beatrice is a recipient of a scholarship from the NASA Aerospace Scholars Program that was partnered with Texas A&M University. She also participated in the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and danced with the Belles dance team while in High School. She plans to major in Animal Science at Texas A&M University at College Station where she has already been accepted. Her love of animals was established when she was a young girl. Because of this she then wants to attend veterinary school after her undergraduate. Eventually, Beatrice wants to become a veterinarian and open her own animal clinic. %u2018Lily Iliana Marroquin - Eighth Honor Student Lily Iliana Marroquin is the daughter of Monica Gonzalez and Arturo Marroquin. Throughout Lily%u2019s time at San Benito HS, she has led and participated in several extracurricular activities such as being Historian of the National Honor Society, Student Council Secretary, Senior Class Vice President of Projects, and a member of Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) where she advanced to state. She is also a member of the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society, Leo Club and the Lower Valley Cotillion Club. With great devotion, Lily spent the last three years cheering on the Varsity Cheer Team. She earned the distinction of being UCA All-American for the past two years where she had the honor of marching in the Annual Pearl Harbor Day Memorial Parade in Honolulu, Hawaii. Lily will be attending the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and pursuing a Bachelors of Business Administration with a minor in Finance. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree, she hopes to continue at UT Austin to graduate with her Masters of Business Administration to pursue a career in Financial Management.
