Sergio Garcia | KSBG TV

Sergio Garcia serves as KSBG-TV 17's Television Liaison. He began his service with San Benito CISD's educational television station in 1998, where he worked on all audio/video related aspects for over a 10-year period. Garcia spent seven years as an educator, where he acquired Avid Certified Instructor (ACI) status from Avid, the industry leader in professional editing. This certification afforded San Benito CISD the opportunity to become a learning partner with Avid to authorize and certify high school students to obtain their certification before graduation.
In his current role, Garcia assists Director of Communications Isabel Gonzalez in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the television station. Working alongside Gonzalez and members of the KSBG team, Garcia produces shows that highlight and promote the students and staff of San Benito CISD.

David Cortez | KSBG TV

David Cortez is a San Benito High School Class of 1990 graduate. He has been employed with San Benito CISD since August of 2008. Cortez has been in the television broadcast industry since 1991, working locally in the Houston area with the CBS, ABC and the PBS affiliate. Cortez, KSBG-TV 17's Lead Technician, has experience in graphics, video shooting and editing and all aspects related to audio.

Jose J. Ramos, a KSBG-TV 17 Television Production Technician, is a San Benito High School Class of 1996 graduate. He graduated in 2011 from Texas State Technical College in Harlingen with a degree in Digital Media Design Technology. His college experience with photography and video projects and his experience with various Graphic Design programs assists him with his role at KSBG. He has been employed with San Benito CISD since October 2011.

Alondra Cardoza | KSBG TV

Alondra Cardoza, a KSBG-TV 17 Television Production Technician, is a Class of 2013 San Benito High School graduate. She began her employment as a co-op student September of 2012 while enrolled in the San Benito High School Media Technology Program. As a student in the district's Career Technical Education Program, Cardoza competed at the Skills USA state competition in the areas of Audio Video Production and Community Showcase, where she and her fellow teammates earned state medals. Cardoza is multi-talented and has the ability to create graphics, develop and edit stories. She is able to work as talent, however, her passion is working behind the scenes.
